one of my most hated one-liner that i have ever heard being utter in reel and real life is

in rejecting or breaking up with someone… why is it that most of us are afraid to say things as it is?

ano ba? magpakakatotoo ka naman! what do you fear ba? afraid kang maka-hurt ng feelings ng ibang tao?

fotah! lumang istrok na yan… ang ganyang mentalidad inababaon sa baul at inililibing na sa hukay kasama ng mga uuod!

wait!

ang uuod sa lupa may silbi… ang ganyang mentalidad ay nagsisilbing lason sa pagkatao ng isang tao!

if you think that you’re not compatible with someone dahil sa mga habits, attitude, sa kama at personalidad ng taong you’re with or planning to be with, or talagang di mo lang gusto ang looks niya, why then spare yourself the truth?

yup… you read it right – spare yourself the truth.

yes, in trying to spare the other person’s feelings, nagpapaka-plastik ka sa sarili mo and you are refusing to grow up, magpakatao and take responsibilities for your actions (cumulative – sa isip, sa salita at sa gawa)

besides, mas lalo mo lang ginagahasa ang pagkatao ng taong dine-deprave mo ng katotohan by taking the “high road” kuno.

di ka lang plastik, liar at hambog… isa ka pang pakshet!

ba’t di mo amin na siya (partner mo o x-potential partner) ang may kakulangan at di ikaw? ba’t di mo sabi ang totoo na ayaw mo na sa kanya kasi… (x factor of reasons)

who gave you the right to subject and inject further injury to the that person’s feelings and being, simply because you are too goddamn freaking chicken to admit na nasa kanya ang diperensiya kaya mo siya nire-reject o hinihiwalayan!

do you think that uttering that line would make that person feel good about his self/herself?

‘wag kang selfish… sarili mo lang ang iniisip mo, kumag!

peste ka, to think na you are sparing someone else’s feelings by saying that line, well, in actuality you just want to feel good about yourself at the expense of others…

idiot!

just tell it as it is… tapatan lang… masaktan na ang masasaktan… at least nasaktan siya sa katotohanan!
